Welcome
The Southern California Water Utilities Association was organized by Walter Weight in 1932 and incorporated in 1967. Currently, there are more than 400 members. This group meets monthly and is made up of water professionals, managers, engineers, supervisors, suppliers, vendors, and associated staff.
May Meeting -- The next meeting will be held on May 24, 2012, at the Conference Center at the Fairplex (same location, different building). The guest speaker will be Charley Wilson, Senior Policy Manager tor Southern California Edison. IMr. Wilson will discuss lessons learned from last December's windstorms and the future of SCE's rates. Annual Field Trip - This June we will be touring the Weymouth Treatment Plant in La Verne. If ou haven't toured Metropolitan Water District's state of the art treatment plant, it is well worth your time. Reservations are required. More information to be posted soon.
